Refund authorization chains and escalation routing
that survive the ‘AI shipped an unauthorized refund’ review.

If your AI agent can issue refunds or credits above a threshold, the question is not whether the AI agent is smart enough to do the job. The question is whether you can defend the action when something goes wrong. Syntheka is the governance plane that makes the action replayable and the audit trail intact.

The reality

What the support lead is defending.

The tailor-made agent loop

From agent action to recorded evidence.

  1. Propose: the AI agent proposes a typed action against the support record (refund, credit, reply, escalation, close), with the case, the rule set, and the system-of-record target (Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Intercom, Front).
  2. Stage: actions above the configured threshold enter the approval DAG. Below threshold, the agent acts and the audit log records the action with full context.
  3. Approve: a qualified approver (support lead, escalation manager, finance reviewer) signs. The system refuses to record an approval from the same identity as the requester.
  4. Execute: the support system confirms the action. Three-way reconciliation: agent intent ↔ system state ↔ customer record.
  5. Record: every state change lands in the append-only bi-temporal audit log with hash chain. The audit committee can replay any refund or reply in full context.
What you save

The pilot is where the numbers become real.

Industry estimates (not a benchmark) for an AI-governed customer support workflow:

Pilot pricing: $1,500 flat for the first three customers. Enterprise quotes for support orgs processing 100K+ tickets per month.
